Compared to last year, 2012 first 10 month industry was down 37%.
When October major fleet deals estimated at 400 units are isolated, October 2012 is flat versus September 2012: this is of course disappointing & shows the industry is not picking-up at the traditional time of preparing the up-coming Tet Holidays.
October 2012 result projected on annual basis gives a full year industry at 94,000 units, a 0.5% increase versus September’s achievement.
October results details:
- Total industry at 7,998 units of which 3,128 units were cars & 4,870 units were trucks.
- Cars were up 9 % vs. last month and trucks were up by 1.4%.
- CKD volume was 6,782 units up 4% vs. last month and CBU was 1,216 units, up 4%.vs last month.
